Spring Sheep Drive--Boise Foothills

Every spring, sheep are driven from lower elevations up into the foothills of Boise, Idaho for summer pasture. This has been going on for over a hundred years. It is a joy to encounter the sheep drive while hiking in the foothills during springtime. This painting captures the energy and colors of this traditional event.
